2. Terms & Conditions

By accessing the CareerNest website or purchasing, booking or using a CareerNest service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the relevant service.

CareerNest Services

CareerNest may provide services including career assessment, career counselling, higher-education guidance, Study Abroad guidance, institutional programmes, workshops, educational information and related services.

The exact scope of a service will depend on the service selected, programme agreed upon or communication provided at the time of booking.

Career Assessment

Career assessments are tools used to support understanding and career exploration.

Assessment findings should be interpreted together with factors such as personal circumstances, education, goals, interests, abilities and professional counselling.

Assessment results should not be treated as an absolute prediction of a person's future or as an instruction that the person must pursue or avoid a particular career.

User Responsibilities

Users are expected to provide accurate and reasonably complete information relevant to the service.

The usefulness of assessments, counselling and education guidance may be affected when information provided is incomplete, inaccurate or misleading.

Users remain responsible for reviewing information and making their own final education, career, admission, financial and Study Abroad decisions.

Minors

Where services are provided to minors, CareerNest may require involvement or consent from a parent or lawful guardian where appropriate or legally required.

Appointments

Counselling sessions and consultations are subject to availability.

Users should attend appointments at the agreed time and provide reasonable notice when requesting a change.

Late arrival may reduce the available session time where another appointment follows.

Payments

Applicable fees will normally be communicated before the service begins.

Unless otherwise stated, payment may be required before assessments, counselling sessions, programme delivery or processing activities commence.

Third-party expenses such as examination fees, application fees, university fees, visa fees, credential evaluation charges, courier costs or other external charges are not CareerNest fees unless specifically stated otherwise.

Study Abroad and Admissions

CareerNest may provide guidance, application assistance and coordination.

Admission decisions are made by educational institutions.

Visa decisions are made by the relevant government, embassy, consulate or authorised immigration authority.

Scholarships, loans and financial assistance are determined by the relevant institutions, lenders or organisations.

CareerNest cannot guarantee any admission, scholarship, loan, visa, placement, employment or immigration outcome.

Information Accuracy

CareerNest makes reasonable efforts to provide useful and current information.

However, admission criteria, examination dates, fees, university policies, visa rules, immigration regulations, scholarships, government policies and other external information may change.

Users should verify critical requirements from the responsible institution or official authority before making irreversible decisions.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, CareerNest website content, original reports, graphics, frameworks, educational material, programme material and other original content are owned by or licensed to CareerNest.

They may not be reproduced, republished, sold, distributed or commercially reused without permission.

Assessment tools or third-party content may remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.

Acceptable Use

Users must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, impersonate another person, submit unlawful material or use CareerNest content for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

Third-Party Services and Links

CareerNest may provide links or access to third-party websites, institutions, assessment providers or platforms.

CareerNest is not responsible for the independent content, availability, policies or actions of third-party services except to the extent required by applicable law.

Limitation of Responsibility

CareerNest provides information, analysis and professional guidance intended to support decision-making.

No career, education or Study Abroad decision can guarantee a particular academic, financial, employment or life outcome.

Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to Services or Terms

CareerNest may update services, website content or these terms from time to time.

The latest version published on this page will apply from its stated effective date.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable consumer-protection and other mandatory legal rights, disputes relating to CareerNest services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in Thrissur, Kerala, India.

3. Disclaimer

CareerNest provides career, education and Study Abroad information and guidance intended to support informed decision-making.

Career Counselling

Career assessments and counselling are intended to help individuals understand patterns, possibilities and potential directions.

They do not determine a person's destiny, guarantee career success or establish that only one career is suitable.

Final decisions should consider the individual's circumstances, goals and evolving preferences.

Psychological and Career Assessments

Career-oriented assessments are not substitutes for psychiatric diagnosis, medical diagnosis, psychological treatment or emergency mental-health services.

Where medical or clinical support is required, users should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Higher Education

Information relating to colleges, universities, courses, eligibility, examinations, fees, admission processes and scholarships may change.

Users should confirm important requirements directly with the relevant institution or official authority before applying or making payments.

Study Abroad

International education involves changing admission, immigration, visa, financial and governmental requirements.

CareerNest may provide guidance and processing assistance but does not control decisions made by universities, embassies, immigration authorities, lenders or governments.

No admission, scholarship, education loan, visa, post-study work right, permanent residency, employment or immigration result is guaranteed.

Career and Employment Information

Information relating to emerging careers, employment trends, industries, AI, economics, public policy or the future of work represents analysis based on information available at the relevant time.

Future conditions may differ materially.

Such information should therefore support exploration and planning rather than be treated as a guaranteed prediction.

External Information

CareerNest may reference government websites, educational institutions, research, news or other external sources.

While reasonable efforts may be made to use reliable information, CareerNest cannot guarantee that third-party information remains complete, error-free or current at all times.

Individual Responsibility

CareerNest helps users understand options and make better-informed decisions.

The final decision remains with the student, parent, professional or institution.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

CareerNest aims to keep its payment, cancellation and refund practices transparent.

Eligibility for cancellation or refund depends on the service purchased and the amount of work or third-party cost already incurred.

Career Assessments

A cancellation request made before an assessment access code or assessment link has been issued or activated may be eligible for a refund, subject to any applicable payment-processing charges.

Once an assessment code has been issued, activated or used, or assessment processing has commenced, the assessment component of the fee is generally non-refundable because third-party and processing costs may already have been incurred.

Counselling Appointments

Users who need to change an appointment should contact CareerNest as early as possible.

As a recommended operating policy, I suggest:

24 hours or more before the appointment: one rescheduling without additional charge.

Less than 24 hours before the appointment: rescheduling may be subject to availability and CareerNest's discretion.

No-show or cancellation after the session has begun: normally non-refundable.

If CareerNest cancels a paid appointment and an alternative time cannot be mutually agreed upon, the applicable session fee should be refunded.

Higher-Education and Study Abroad Services

Where CareerNest has already begun profile evaluation, application preparation, document review, counselling, processing or other agreed work, the portion of fees relating to completed work may not be refundable.

Fees paid directly or indirectly to third parties may be governed by the policies of those organisations.

Examples include application fees, university deposits, visa charges, examination fees, courier fees, credential evaluations and other external charges.

CareerNest cannot guarantee refunds of amounts collected by third parties.

Institutional Programmes

Cancellation and rescheduling terms for school, college, university or community programmes should normally be stated in the relevant proposal, quotation or agreement.

Where expenses have already been incurred for travel, materials, assessment licences or programme preparation, those amounts may be deducted from any eligible refund where lawful and previously communicated.

Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If a duplicate payment or obvious payment error occurs, contact CareerNest with the transaction details so that it can be reviewed and corrected where appropriate.

Approved Refunds

Approved refunds should normally be returned to the original payment method wherever reasonably possible.

I recommend stating:

Approved refunds are generally processed within 7–10 working days, although the time taken for the amount to appear may also depend on the payment provider or bank.
